<Diffusion!!>

My breath attack scattered like mist with a single gesture of her hand.

Even though I had held back considerably, it was an attack that even a Dragon King-Class might have struggled to block.

Yet, seeing her block it so easily was surprising.

I see.

So that is her ability.

She called it Diffusion... so, dispersion.

It’s quite a good ability.

The power to scatter things that are clumped together.

Whether it be energy, matter, or concepts.

It must be a force that neutralizes anything condensed.

With that, she could probably block most attacks.

"Attacking before we even talk... You are quite impatient, aren't you, Lord Chaos Dragon?"

She spoke with a relaxed smile.

She knows my identity? That makes things faster.

"I felt like you were testing me, and it annoyed me. It's arrogant."

"Fufu, I apologize for that. It seems you are indeed far stronger than I am. If you had truly intended to kill me, I would have died before I could even react."

"You're a dragon who knows her place better than I thought."

"Still, I wish to experience the power of the one who will become my master firsthand. My name is Wendy. Please, teach me a lesson!"

As soon as the dragon introduced herself as Wendy, she gathered wind in one hand.

The surrounding storm was sucked into her palm, compressing into the shape of a sharp sword that seemed capable of cutting through anything.

"I will go with full power! Tempest Edge!"

...A sword of storms, indeed.

A technique befitting a dragon that controls storms.

I could simply erase it with the Worthlessness ability of the House of Belial, but since she asked for a bout, should I just take the hit?

A blade of storm that transcended sound approached to slice me.

I deployed the shield magic of the House of Amon around my body, but the storm blade tore through the shield like paper and sliced right through my dragon body.

"Amazing... In terms of raw power alone, is she above Tannin over there?"

My upper and lower body were separated by the attack, but in the blink of an eye, the power of the Grail completed the regeneration.

"I see... That was an attack I could call my ultimate move, yet you didn't even need to dodge it."

Wendy smiled bitterly.

"Unfortunately for you. But you should be proud. Even if Tannin over there attacked with his full power, he wouldn't have been able to slice my body in two so easily."

"Is that so... In that case, I shall pour everything I have into this last one!"

Wendy abandoned her human form and transformed into a dragon.

An Eastern-style dragon with brilliant green scales matching her emerald eyes.

Her dragon form is quite beautiful.

Completely different from me.

"If you can withstand this attack, I will dedicate my everything to you!"

The storm was compressed and accelerated within Wendy's mouth.

Repeating that action dozens, hundreds of times, a tiny sphere the size of a bean was soon completed.

If that thing is released, the power will be tremendous.

"Here I go! A strike containing my everything—Storm Core! Receive it!"

The sphere was fired at a tremendous speed that I couldn't react to, piercing through my defenses and entering my body.

"Release!"

At Wendy's command word, the sphere inside me exploded, beginning to destroy everything from the inside out.

"Kuh...!"

However, since I regenerate immediately upon destruction thanks to the Grail, the sphere eventually exhausted all its power and naturally disappeared.

"Was it a failure..."

Wendy, having returned to her human form, sank to her knees powerlessly.

"It hurt quite a bit. That was the first time I felt this much pain since fighting the Heavenly Dragons in the Great War. You just had a bad matchup. If it weren't me—even if it were a Heavenly Dragon—taking that attack would have been fatal."

"...It is my defeat. My future Master, may I ask your name?"

"Eden. Chaos Dragon Eden. I look forward to working with you, Wendy."

"I look forward to serving you, Lord Eden."

I approached her and took out the Bishop Evil Pieces.

I tried placing one against her, but as expected, one wasn't enough.

So I just applied two Bishops, and the Evil Pieces seeped into Wendy's body.

Considering both were Mutation Pieces, it seems she has the potential to grow to the level of a Heavenly Dragon.

"Welcome to becoming my first servant, Wendy. From now on, unleash your power to your heart's content by my side as my Bishop."

"Yes, Lord Eden! I, Wendy, shall become your wind and blow away every obstacle blocking your path!"

And so, I obtained my first servant.

It's going to get noisy when I return...
