Chapter 15: [ The Great Miracle ] : [ 14 ] [ (The Great One) and the Two Children / Memory Seal ]
In the dark of night, at a quiet hour when everyone was asleep, the door to a certain hospital room opened without a sound.
Not long after, through the opened door, two small child-like figures and
one adolescent-like figure opened the door and entered the room.
The two small child-like figures were revealed by the moonlight coming through the window,
and their revealed forms were a boy with grey hair and a girl with deep blue hair.
They were the children (Bell and Wise) whom Ras had met through 'Carol Arna'
when he was struggling in the past to find a treatment for Professor Arche and his wife.
And the figure who brought these two, strangely, even though their form was illuminated by the moonlight,
was hard to see clearly, taking on a vague, blurry shape without even a shadow.
The being with the vague shape gradually solidified its form and then spoke
to Ras, who was in a deep sleep....
"You tried to change fate once again..... But it seems you couldn't change it this time....."
As the form gradually became clear, what became visible was the greatest encounter Ras had met in the primordial worldview:
[ The Great One ], and He gazed silently at Arayeth....
"A life that should have originally died has been prolonged by one person...."
[ The Great One ] spoke of Arayeth as an existence that should have originally died,
saying that because of Ras's existence, she could live longer,
then took out a register and began to recite, as if uttering each one.

Having finished speaking, [ The Great One ] stroked the heads of the two children,
who were nodding off sleepily beneath Him, and opened His mouth to speak to Ras.
"Ras... You turned the tragedies of countless people into comedies and hope.
In the City, you became an object of fear and longing for many,
"a warm father to a child in the City, and sacrificed yourself to the very end.
"And here, you used your strength to save many people's lives.
Even if that happened during the process of searching for your wife's treatment... that is an achievement
that cannot be changed.... Therefore, I shall bestow upon you directly
the final reward and price I give...."
As those words ended, [ The Great One ] slowly approached Arayeth and
made Bell and Wise, whose eyes were closing, place their hands on Arayeth's head.
Immediately after, He said this:
"This is a future power these children will possess, and the reward I give to you.."
The moment those words ended, something appeared in the children's eyes, and
the E.G.O. crystal that had formed on Arayeth's head vanished.
As the crystal disappeared, the children, retaining only a faint memory of this moment,
fell asleep as if collapsing on the spot, and
[ The Great One ] coughed up a small amount of blood and, by giving Ras the greatest reward,
ended all responsibility for making Ras live a difficult life.
As a price for the tilted scale and for Ras's sake, He sealed away a part of Ras's memories,
praying that he would live a peaceful life without those terrible memories ever again.

With a 'click' sound, Ras's memories were sealed away as if submerged.
Thus, [ The Great One ], wishing for Ras to live without the pain and memory of 'that day',
bestowed a blessing upon Arayeth, Ras's treasure, and with the rising sun,
disappeared from the spot as if nothing had ever been there.
Not long after, Ras awoke, roused from sleep by someone,
and faced the miracle before his eyes.

Everything is dark... Endlessly so... Not even a single light.
It's overwhelming.... The thought that I can no longer meet her, meet Arayeth,
is terrifying.... I don't have the confidence to see her end....
I want to dismiss it as false... To think that all of this is a nightmare and
that my wife Arayeth will wake me up....
But I know. I know that all of this is truth and reality. At that moment,
someone began to wake me up...
"Ras~~#!! Ras, wake up~~!!"
It's my wife's voice.... But I know. I know this is an auditory hallucination.
That's why it was even more painful, but today's hallucination felt strange somehow...
"Honey~~~ Our sturdy man~~~!!!! Wake up~!!"
A lively voice, as if my wife were truly alive and speaking, tickled my ears, and
not long after, feeling a shaking of my body, I opened my eyes and awoke from sleep.
I checked what was happening, and what appeared before my eyes was.....
"You're awake?? Our sleepyhead!!!!"
There was Arayeth, the E.G.O. crystal that had formed on her head now gone, breathing vividly and alive,
greeting me (Ras). Seeing his wife revived, Ras.....
"A....Ah....Ah....Ara...yeth..??"
Faced with that sight, Ras, who clearly remembered his wife on the verge of death,
thought this situation with Arayeth alive, this very sight, was a dream....
"Hehehe.... Why are you making that face??"
Arayeth approached Ras and touched his cheek. The tactile sensation he felt and
the vividly felt senses made Ras finally realize that the situation itself—his wife being alive—
was reality. He burst into tears and clung to Arayeth.
Ras cried like a child, and Arayeth, seeing Ras cry for the first time,
held him in her arms and comforted him. That day, Ras
felt an indescribable, overwhelming emotion at the miracle that had occurred,
rejoicing simply in his wife's survival and revival, clinging to Arayeth, and
giving thanks to a [God] he didn't even know existed, pouring out all those countless emotions.
Watching that scene, [ The Great One ] spoke words Ras would not hear...
"The help I can give you ends here.... You suffered because of our mistake,
so I have paid the price for it.. The rest is up to you..."
"May the suffering from your past life.... and the suffering from the City
no longer torment you...."
With those words, [ The Great One ] completely left this place, and finally,
as He departed, He gave Ras a title and a final privilege through a status window before vanishing.
